About  Lone Wolf Boxing Gym

Lone Wolf Boxing Academy was founded on the idea of building a boxing community dedicated to the sport. Our passion for the sweet science is contagious, and our members are as excited to develop their understanding of the sport as they are to push themselves, and one another. 

We love details. We love nuances. We love to break skills down so that our boxers not only understand the mechanics of boxing, but also the strategy. Learning about the function and purpose of movement is key in helping fighters learn about the 'sweet science'. This is an academy after all. 

We are in the business of building good habits. We want you to feel good, and to look good. Our boxers look like they know what they are doing, because they do. 

 

We know there are a lot of boxing gyms out there. Some of them are absolutely tremendous. Others, however are more interested in taking your money than teaching you the finer points of boxing. Some gyms will throw you in a class, led by someone with little-to-no actual boxing experience, in the name of fitness. We are not fitness boxing. 

 

Others will exclusively do personal training, where they start you out with an experienced coach, only to switch you to an inexperienced trainer when they’ve procured the contents of your wallet, and you’ve signed on the dotted line. Our coaches are all experienced boxers with additional disciplines that often integrate into the sport. 

 

Other gyms out there can be intimidating. It may be hard to get the attention of a trainer while you are working, making it hard to know if you are reinforcing bad habits. This in turn can make one feel very unmotivated. We are here to welcome you as well as motivate you. We are a boxing community.

Coach Manny

Head Coach and Owner USA Boxing Coach - 'Coach Manny' - has over 40 years of Boxing experience. From competing in Chicago, the Philippine islands, and in the military, to coaching in NY, he has dedicated his life to creating a modern edge boxing program for all levels and has trained hundreds of MMA fighters and boxing champions, including developing self-defense and anti-bullying programs for kids.

Wolf Cub Kid's Course

Ages 7-14 years

Boxing course for one month for kids 8-12 years old. A great way to build confidence, learn self-defense, and how to deal with bullying, as well as learn the great sport of boxing, in a fun, friendly environment!

Open Gym for Monthly Members

Our open gym 6:am to 9:00pm is for full time members only.

NO OUTSIDE TRAINERS ALLOWED

NO SPARRING UNLESS A COACH IS PRESENT

We have a strict policy of members only.

 

If you let anyone in the gym that is not a member your membership will be terminated.

We call it an "Academy" because not only are you getting a great workout, we actually teach you the "art of the sweet science" correctly. Because we care not only to get you in the best shape of your life, we also care that you are doing things properly. Our workouts are not easy but you burn up to 500- 1000 calories a workout!
